Destination Weddings Should Go Glamping!

I am writing this post as the Founder and CEO of Glamping Hub ties the knot today in the hills of southern Spain. I can’t imagine a more beautiful place for a summer wedding...hillsides dotted with white villages, tall stone castles, colorful cafes, green valleys, and the sparkling coastline only a hop, skip and a jump away.

Destination weddings have become an enormously popular way to turn a ceremony into a holiday. Couples are constantly finding new ways to wed, and discovering unique locations that will excite their guests. Cliff tops, mountain trails, gondolas, lakesides, riverboats. When your guests are required to travel to join you on your wedding day, finding the perfect location is essential.

And it’s not only an amazing location that is critical. Accommodations, activities, facilities and services are also necessary. You want all the comforts of a hotel with a bit of the unexpected that comes hand-in-hand with wedding in nature. You know what I’m thinking? Of course…Glamping!

Glamping is a truly exceptional destination wedding option. Unique? Check. Breathtakingly beautiful? Check. Built in lodging for your guests? Check. Hotel amenities? Check.

The Koyao Island Resort in Thailand is a perfect example. Their secluded and luxurious thatched roof villas line the white sand beach, looking out onto the piercingly blue Andaman sea.

Up to 80 guests can enjoy the resort amenities such as massages, island cruises, yoga, mountain biking, painting classes, and, of course, basking in the sun. And the husband and wife to be can enjoy full service wedding facilities, including photography, catering, flowers, music, and even fireworks.

Picking the perfect destination can be tricky, but Glamping Hub can help you find the most spectacular place to tie the knot.
