THE GLAMPING UNITS The yurts are sturdy and secure structures with rigid walls and roofs and solid floors, yet still have the feel of tenting and being a part of the natural environment. They are insulated and heated, have electricity and all the basic furnishings required to enjoy your stay - all you need is your sleeping bag! Fresh water is available nearby and the yurts are complemented by a complete comfort station with bathrooms, hot showers, and even heated floors. HOW TO GET THERE Traveling from the south (Vancouver area) Take Highway #1 westbound or Highway #99 northbound to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver then travel northbound on scenic and well-maintained Highway #99 (the Sea to Sky Highway) for 110 kms (70 miles) to Whistler Village. Continue northbound past Whistler Village for 1.5 kms (1 mile) on Highway 99, then follow the signs to Riverside Resort by turning right at Spruce Grove Way, then immediately left at Mons Road where you will find the entrance to Riverside Resort a short distance down the road on the right hand side.
From the north (Kamloops, Cache Creek, Lillooet) Take Highway #97 southbound, or Highway #1 westbound, to the junction of Highway #99 (the Duffy Lake Road) just north of Cache Creek. Travel southbound through Lillooet then continue southbound for 130 kms (80 miles) on Highway #99 through Pemberton to Whistler. As you enter Whistler, proceed past the turnoff for the Nicklaus North Golf Course on the left, then follow the signs to Riverside Resort by turning left at Spruce Grove Way, then immediately left at Mons Road where you will find the entrance to Riverside Resort a short distance down the road on the right hand side.
