The resort is located on tranquil Sumilon Island. The island remains one of Cebu's best kept secrets and is found on the southeastern tip of the mainland. It is 125 kilometers from Cebu City and is in close proximity to Dumaguete.
The island has an area of 24 hectares and is surrounded by crystal clear waters with varying aquamarine hues. It is the first marine protected area in the Philippines and was made a fish sanctuary in 1974 under the guidance of Siliman University Marine Reserve. During dives, one will find varied marine species and even occasional sightings of black tip sharks. Pristine white sand beaches are situated in different areas in Sumilon.
The glamping tents are set up in the lagoon area, near the picnic grove. At night, a bonfire can be set up before dinner if you please. Inside the tents are 2 single beds, a table, minibar, lamp, outdoor chairs, and electric fan. The tents are perfect for small families or a small group of friends. Glampers can use the bathroom at the lagoon area.
While at the resort, one can enjoy snorkeling, trekking, kayaking, and fish feeding. A lot of interesting spots can be found on the island, such as the so called "Baluarte", a historic watchtower used by locals to survey the area and protect against pirates during the Spanish era. The waters are also amazing. Beneath the crystal blue surface can be found different species of fish. At night, theme buffet dinners are served at the restaurant. Saturday nights are special because of the Barrio Fiesta Theme Dinner, where there are dancers performing native dances in the Philippines.
