There are 12 fantasy charcoal-burner huts located in the middle of a spruce forest outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Each hut features two bunks furnished with sheepskin rugs, candles, matches, firewood, and sleeping bags. All of the rustic huts have a wood stove and use wood chopped by the guests themselves. Blueberries can be picked right off the roof of the hut!

Simple dinner options are available to pick from the kitchen storage and an ecological breakfast can be made by guests over the fire. Guests are provided with sleeping bags (including a small pillow and sheets). Glampers can also use the floating sauna with other guests (the private sauna can also be booked).

These are Sweden's most primitive accommodations - neither electricity nor running water disturbs the nature experience. Here guests can happily fall asleep in front of the crackling fireplace and awake to beautiful bird song.

Here it is "back to basics!" There is neither electricity nor running water from the tap. Since there is no shower, guests can go for a refreshing swim in the lake. The property does have outdoor toilets. Kitchen facilities and equipment are supplied, and guests can enjoy fresh drinking water collected from the natural spring in the forest. Canoes and wooden rowing boats are also supplied for guests.

Additional info

This is a very primitive accommodation site so don´t expect your experience to be ordinary. We do not have staff on site at all times, only at check-in time between 2 PM and 3 PM.

We recommend that you bring weather resistant clothing, footwear for hiking, warm clothing for cold Swedish nights, cameras, binoculars, torches, sleeping bags, pillows, bathing suits, towels, water bottles, and snacks. Sleeping bags can be rented for 150 SEK.

These environmentally friendly huts were built from natural materials, and a percentage of the revenue coming into goes straight to a range of projects that support the preservation of the environment and historic places of interest. A visit to the huts will be an exciting and enjoyable nature experience for both young and old.
