The yurt is situated on a scenic road on a property that is bounded front and back by Cardigan Mt. State Forest. The forest is over 5,000 acres, and has 50 miles of hiking trails. The yurt site itself is on the old location of the Civilian Conservation Corp Camp. The road has very light traffic, and almost none at night.
