LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS

Nestled in the middle of the Sequoia forest in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this site is near the Monterey Bay area and the city of Santa Cruz.

The treehouse is located about 17 minutes from HWY 1 (Pacific Coast HWY), and once there you can either drive to the treehouse (only 4x4) or walk the path through the forest for a few hundred yards.

The weather is perfect almost all year round. The house is located in the "Banana Belt", a microclimate with mild winters, and enjoyable, warm summers.

THE TREEHOUSE

The treehouse is well equipped and incredibly designed. It has a comfortable, high bed (all linens provided), a kitchen with a small stove, refrigerator, cooking tools, and some basic items like spices, oil, vinegar, sugar and tea. There is a bathroom with a shower and toilet. There is also a hot tub under the trees kept at about 103 degrees for a perfect soak before going to bed or anytime you want to relax. There is a gas stove for heating, a TV and DVD player with a good movie collection.

The house comes with a very friendly cat, Grey, who lives outside. She loves attention and is currently employed full time as a mouser!

A $60.00 cleaning fee is charged per each stay.

Two night minimum on weekends. THREE DAY MINIMUM on HOLIDAY WEEKENDS.

You must cancel five days before your reservation. A 50% charge of your stay will be applied if you cancel after the grace period.

An Eco-friendly treehouse, it is asked to consider using fewer towels during your stay and to not request a sheet change unless your stay is longer than a week. 

ACTIVITIES

There are plenty of physical or cultural activities to be engaged in the whole day: Hikking, biking or birdwatching through the native forest; sunbathing, fishing, whale watching or surfing at some of the best Californian beaches, just 25 minutes away; enjoying the art, music, cuisine, golf or the aquarium in Monterey Bay area.
