The jungle cabins lie 164 ft. away from one another, nestled along the scenic river and against the backdrop of the tropical rainforest. Imagine lying in your hammock on your private open air porch while enjoying the fresh scents coming from the jungle and the gentle sounds of the water and birds' songs. Every cabin comes with a chimney, a living room and a spacious bathroom with a huge panoramic window overlooking the natural beauty. On your porch and beside the gentle river, you will also find comfy deck chairs and a table.

Dining - The lodge offers a menu combining Mediterranean flavors and local Argentinean cuisine. Homemade baked goods are prepared daily in the clay oven and jams are made from regional fruits. Mediterranean flavours and aromas are highlighted with a strong influence of the regional cuisine. Alternative menus for vegetarian and celiac guests are available. Many of the vegetables and herbs such as yucca, lettuce, zucchini, rocket, oregano, ciboulette, tropical fruits and more come from the host's organic veggie garden.

The Main Lodge - The cozy, rustic common area features plenty of sofas, hammocks and cushions where guests can relax, read a book, listen to music or get to know each other. Free wifi is available. At meal times, guests gather together around a long table to enjoy tasty lunches and dinners.

The lodge operates in harmony with nature and with a view to reducing the environmental impact to a minimum. Therefore, the lodge has implemented the following measures:

All the cleaners are made with natural and biodegradable products.
Sewage water and kitchen waste water are separated and treated differently .
All the cabins have large watertight tanks to accelerate bacterial decomposition.

Bath amenities are manufactured especially for the lodge and are made of biodegradable products.
To avoid making the cesspools watertight with calcareous residue, liquid soap is used instead of bar soap.
Bathrooms are cleaned with ashes coming from burnt wood and lemon water so as not to interrupt the decomposing process in the septic tank.

Gas is used only in the kitchen and the clay oven is used whenever possible.
The lodge's water is heated up by firewood boilers. They are only lit up twice a day or at guests’ request.
Instead of batteries, dynamo flashlights are used and battery-run appliance are avoided.
Well organized logistics keep combustion vehicles at a minimum.

The property features about 10 acres of forest in recovery where the hosts replant native plants.
The lodge has an organic vegetable garden and a greenhouse.
The lodge makes their own compost with organic waste.
The lodge hires local people to increase their standard of living.

During your stay you are subject to strict rules such as:
Dispose of anything alien to the environment, from a cigarette bud to a fruit peeling.
Everything must be thrown into a proper rubbish bin or kept in a bag.
Avoid picking up any plant or animal from the surrounding area.
Avoid planting vegetation that is not native to the area.
Avoid walking outside of the marked paths without the guide’s authorization.
Guest should not go for hikes without the lodge’s consent.
Do not hunt animals. Fishing is allowed via a catch-and-release policy.
Children should not be left unattended anywhere on the property.
Avoid using soap, shampoo, etc. that has not been provided by the lodge.

This inviting lodge lies tucked away in the middle of nature in the tropical Paranaese jungle, 174 miles away from Posadas, the capital of the Argentinian province of Misiones, and 180 miles away from the breathtaking Iguazú Falls, (Cataratas del Iguazú), one of the largest cascades in the world. This rugged region boasts an amazing flora and fauna and also encompasses the gorgeous Moconá Waterfalls (Saltos del Moconá). The high-end lodge lies snuggled along the banks of the Paraíso river, the south side of the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve (Reserva de Biósfera Yabotí), home of a some of the richest and most endangered ecosystems of the world and the traditional villages of the native Guaraní people.

Saltos del Moconá - There are two spectacular natural attractions that define the province of Misiones: First, the mesmerizing Cataratas del Iguazú and the Moconá Waterfalls, which are enclosed by Parque Provincial Saltos del Moconá and Parque Estadual Do Turbo on the Brazilian coast. The Moconá Waterfalls lie hidden in Misiones' hidden interior, tucked away in the dense rainforest. The cascades divide the Uruguay River lengthwise and are a two-mile-step uninterrupted waterfall that, depending on the river's height, can reach up to 60 feet high. The lodge offers boat trips to the Moconá Waterfalls. Boats depart from the mouth of Paraíso River in Uruguay as well as from El Soberbio and go up the channel where the all the cascade's water flows over the imposing vertical drop. An unforgettable spectacle of nature awaits you.

Outdoor Activities and Excursions - Guests can enjoy guided hikes and trekking tours in the jungle to hidden falls and cascades, bird watching tours guided by an ornithologist, mountain-bike and 4x4 vehicle rides around nature reserves and protected areas, and village visits to the traditional Guaraní people.

The Paraíso River provides great water sport activities such as exciting raft rides through the rapids or kayak and caico trips through the gentle stream. During the warm season, the river is perfect for swimming.
