These fantastic family-friendly holiday cabins can be found tucked away in Bournda National Park on the gorgeous Sapphire Coast of Merimbula, New South Wales. Ideal for large groups and memorable family getaways, each cabin hosts two bedrooms and one bathroom with the ability to comfortably accommodate six guests.
Designed to fit right in with the beautiful natural surroundings, each self-contained wood cabin ensures that guests will want for nothing during their stay.
Upon entering the woodsy coastal retreat, guests will discover a large common area that features a six-seater wooden dining table with blue cushioned chairs that match the blue accents found throughout the rest of the space. Included in the bright and uplifting blue color scheme is the soft futon couch and drapes found throughout the rental that cover large windows and glass doors leading to the great outdoors. The common area also houses a potbelly stove for warming up on colder nights (with wood provided by the host) and a large flat-screen television with cable and a DVD player. The area is open and inviting, allowing guests to unwind in the same space for fun game nights, movie nights, and shared meals at the table.
The fully-equipped kitchen opens up to the common area and features a large refrigerator, a stove, a sink, and a microwave, making meal preparation easy.
The cabin plays host to one bathroom that contains a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Laundry facilities can be found at the retreat, as well, with linens and towels provided by the host.
Guests will discover two separate bedrooms inside the rental to rest their heads at night after long days spent soaking up the sun and exploring all that the area has to offer. A queen-size bed, a bright window, a long mirror, and shelves for storing items can all be found in the main bedroom. The second bedroom features two sets of twin-size bunk beds, another bright window, and a long mirror. Cots are available upon request, should guests need more beds.
Outside, guests will find undercover parking right beside the cabin. Guests may also go for a dip in the large saltwater solar-heated pool or relax with the little ones at the toddlers’ wading pool, so families with children of all ages can spend the day in the sunshine. For glampers in the mood to exercise and play outside, a full-size tennis court, children’s playground, three individual par-3 golf holes complete with sand greens, and a wide assortment of sporting equipment (free of charge) are available to guests during their stay on the property.
Each cabin features private laundry facilities, making longer stays especially comfortable for guests. There is also a potbelly stove with supplied wood to keep the cabins cozy during colder months and undercover parking beside the cabin to protect guests’ vehicles from any elements.
A wide range of facilities can be found on site for guests to use freely, including cots and highchairs available upon request, along with unlimited use of Wi-Fi, fax, and phone facilities at the reception desk.
Outside, guests will find a large saltwater solar-heated pool, along with a toddlers’ wading pool so families with children of all ages can spend the day in the sunshine, splashing about in the pool. For glampers in the mood to exercise and play outside, a full-size tennis court, children’s playground, three individual par-3 golf holes complete with sand greens, and a wide assortment of sporting equipment are available to guests during their stay.
The property has a fish cleaning sink and fish freezer, along with gas and wood barbecues, so guests can either take their fresh catch home with them at the end of their vacation or fire up the grill and have them for dinner.

Best known for its gorgeous coast that draws guests from all corners of the globe, Merimbula, New South Wales is a dream vacation spot for glampers looking to pass the time relaxing lakeside, beachside, and exploring national parks.
The cabins can be found right in the heart of Bournda National Park, home to over 5,000 acres of beaches, lakes, ocean, and natives animals and plants. Because of this, Bournda National Park boasts fantastic water activities, such as wave sailing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, and water skiing on Wallagoot Lake. Guests are encouraged to venture out on a charter boat to fish, dive, or watch whales splash about the waves while staying in the National Park.
Each year, from September through November, humpback whales can commonly be seen from the shoreline in Merimbula, along with the occasional South Right, Minke, and Killer Whale sightings. Guests are invited to join boat cruises to get an incredible, up-close view of the gorgeous sea mammals breaching in their natural environment.
Home to clean waters and an abundance of underwater creatures, The Sapphire Coast provides an amazing getaway for lovers of all kinds of fishing. Bournda Island has been recognized worldwide for its surf and rock fishing spots that boast mainly tailor, salmon, and gummy fish.
