This 285-acre property is a dedicated Wildlife Sanctuary with Wildlife Land Trust and is based in a secluded location bordered by the Corang River in New South Wales. It makes for a superb getaway destination for friends, families, and couples who are looking to unwind in sublime natural beauty away from the hustle and bustle. It also makes for an ideal stopover from Canberra or the coast and guests will be within easy reach of Deua, Budawang, Morton, Monga, and the Tallaganda National Parks.
The property is a short drive from the Budawang Ranges as well as local attractions and activities such as the Moss Institute of Motocross and Supercross and Historic Braidwood, where there are a number of historic sites to visit. Whether guests are looking for an action-packed adventure or a relaxing getaway, there’s something for everyone in the Corang area. Guests will be able to walk to the Corang River from the property where they can enjoy fishing, kayaking, and swimming or enjoy a game of bocce ball on the lawn.
The property is within easy reach of several national parks like Deua, Budawang, Morton, Monga, and Tallaganda where they can follow scenic bushwalking and biking trails as well as more opportunities for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The historic town of Braidwood makes for an interesting trip as guests can explore the 19th-century buildings before setting off into the nearby national parks.
Bungonia National Park is a 45-minute drive away where guests can explore caves, and Billys Hill towards Nowra is a favorite spot for rock climbers. There are also ample activities in nearby Braidwood, including the museum, yoga classes, markets, farmers market days, festivals throughout the year, and excellent cafes and restaurants. The rental is also 20 minutes from Great Divide Tours four wheel drive training center. In the winter months, guests should be sure to inquire with the hosts about booking a truffle hunt at the local truffle farm.
