It is a few feet away from the Kydra River, between two national parks in the heart of the famous and beautiful Snowy Mountains. The log cabin can accommodate up to five guests, perfect for family vacations or group retreats.

In the upstairs loft, couples can sleep on a comfortable double bed in the master bedroom. Children can sleep on a twin-size sofa bed in the master bedroom, another double-size bed in the second bedroom, or a twin-size bed in the third bedroom. Each bedroom includes a dresser and a closet. All three bedrooms will have easy access to a full, private bathroom with a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens, towels, hair dryers, and toiletries are provided.

After a long day of canoeing down the Kydra River or skiing down the Snowy Mountains, guests can relax in the cozy living room. They can kick back on the sofa and watch TV, curl up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, or sit in a leather armchair and enjoy the gorgeous views of the Australian countryside. A collection of books, games, and DVDs are provided for family entertainment.

The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a fridge with a freezer, a stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a toaster. A coffeemaker, tea kettle, dishes, and cooking utensils are also provided. There are two dining rooms, each with a table that can seat up to six guests. A highchair is provided for parents with infants or small children. Other amenities include heating and air conditioning, cable and satellite, and a washer and dryer.

Outside this Snowy Mountains accommodation, guests can drink coffee or tea on the front porch and watch the sunrise over the valley and mountains. In the evenings, they can relax in the outdoor private patio, where they can roast s'mores around a fire pit, cook dinner on a barbecue grill, or just sit back and watch the horses and cattle graze in the pastures and gardens outside the log cabins. Australia can be viewed in its most idyllic aspect up in this snowy mountain cabin.

It is situated on a farm a few minutes away from the banks of the Kydra River and Greenland Creek. The farm is an hour and a half away from Kosciuszko National Park, and less than two hours away from Wadbilliga National Park. Tucked away in the Greenlands countryside, Cooma is centrally located between the Snowy Mountains and the beaches along New South Wales' southern coast. It is about an hour and a half away from Canberra. The closest major airport is Canberra International Airport, which is about an hour and 15 minutes away from Cooma.

At Wadbilliga National Park, there are more opportunities for hiking and mountain biking, as well as birdwatching, bushwalking, viewing wildlife, and rappelling.
