Converted Church Accommodation from the 1880s for a Weekend Getaway in NSW
Unique NSW holiday rentals for glamping in Australia
This charming converted church accommodation by the river dates back to the 1880s, and is a totally unique space for up to five guests to enjoy a weekend getaway in NSW. The main bedroom is located upstairs on the mezzanine and has a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has a set of twin-over-double bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath and a large shower. Bedding, linens, and towels are kindly provided.
After a busy day cycling along the river nearby, guests will love returning to the bright and airy interior to hang out and spend some quality time together. Meals can be prepared in the kitchen and enjoyed in the dining room. Out in the garden, guests can chill out in the outdoor sitting area or fire up the BBQ for a change from the kitchen.
The church is on an acre of land and is surrounded with gardens with fruit trees, herbs, and seasonal vegetables. If you are lucky you should be able to collect some asparagus in the morning. You will enjoy a beautiful view down to the river and over the mountains. For those who have a boat there is a good public boat ramp 400 metres away at the Skeleton Rock Reserve.
