This property is pet-friendly and non-smoking. There are outdoor areas around the property where smoking is permitted, and guests must dispose of their butts accordingly. If guests are found to have smoked in their accommodation, there will be an additional cleaning fee applied.

Guests traveling with pets must have prior approval from the host, and the pet can stay on the back veranda of the accommodation for an additional fee. Guests must bring all of the pet's bedding, food, etc., and guests must clean up after their animal. The pet can only be on the aforementioned veranda, never inside the accommodation.

While staying in Nimbin, guests should make sure to visit the absolutely beautiful Nightcap National Park, a spot that is popular for camping, hiking, and biking, and sight-seeing, particularly its waterfalls and wildlife. Nimbin is also known for the Rocky Creek Dam, where guests will enjoy fishing at or having a picnic by, as well as the Protesters Falls for more hiking trails. Mount Jerusalem National Park is a one hour drive north-east of the property and is also home to plenty of hiking and sight-seeing. Guests should also make the trip to the famous Byron Bay, where there are plenty of shops and cafes, as well as some beautiful beaches. One beach that guests should see in particular is Wategos Beach.
