Truly idyllic places to stay in New South Wales

This fabulous NSW tiny house rental is the ideal place to escape the city. The retreat is a great option for a weekend getaway from Sydney and guests will be only a 25-minute drive to the wonderful beaches of the south coast which offer a variety of activities. Guests will be on the banks of Missingham Creek which winds its way through the property and there are ample swimming holes to enjoy the crystal clear water.

The NSW tiny house offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette complete with air-conditioning and heating. There is a queen-size bed up in the loft and a sofa bed on the ground floor, which can be converted to a single bed. The kitchenette has everything guests could need to cook light meals with including a portable cooker, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes, silverware, a microwave, and a mini-fridge. The portable cooker can be kept in the drawers when not in use to maximize space.

The bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). In Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, the hosts help to save the environment by conserving water using an eco-friendly toilet. Wastes are broken down in the compost toilet via an aerobic decomposition process. It is a waterless system whereas a standard dual flush toilet would use up to 350L of water per week. An aeration fan helps in the decomposition process and minimizes odors. If guests are using their own soap, shampoo, and toothpaste, the hosts ask that they bring biodegradable ones so that the greywater runoff does not harm the environment.

During their idyllic stay in New South Wales, guests are free to roam around the paddocks but must ensure all gates are left as they found them. Guests are only allowed to approach our horses with hosts' permission and supervision. An outdoor movie screen is available (depending on weather conditions). There is a large movie list available in the welcome folder on site or guests may bring their own DVDs or USB sticks.
