This private holiday getaway means glampers will be the only guests at this unique Top End getaway in Darwin rural, Northern Territory. Located 55 km from both Darwin CBD and Darwin Airport. Set in 22 acres of natural bush-land, this simple, rustic getaway has tropical gardens and wide, wrap-around verandas with expansive treeline views.
This rental accommodates six guests in three bedrooms with three comfortable double beds. All bedrooms have air-conditioning, overhead fans, and open wardrobes. Fresh home laundered linen and bath towels are provided by hosts. The open plan lounge/kitchen/dining is an air conditioned homely space with TV, Blu-Ray DVD, and interesting books for guests to enjoy. The kitchen suits home-cooked meals with a full stove/oven plus microwave, fridge/freezer - fully equipped with utensils, crockery, and cookware. A shower, toilet, vanity, and laundry adjoin this space.
Territory life is outdoors, celebrating tropical days and nights. Guests can refresh in a 4-person spa on the covered deck. An outdoor setting, bar fridge and BBQ provide a relaxed ambiance for al-fresco dining. Glampers can also enjoy the fire-pit under the stars - just gazing, toasting marshmallows or making their favorite camp oven fare!
The rental can accommodate two more guests if required with an extra, self-contained, air-conditioned, queen-bed cabin. Hosts should be contacted to discuss price of cabin.
This property is self-check in for a private stay. The property is fully fenced and secure with undercover parking for 2 vehicles and plenty of space for a guest caravan or boat. The rental is pet friendly outdoors and provides two running leads for dogs if required. A marked walking trail through the paperbark forest with a wet season creek is ideal for nature lovers and bird-watchers to relish during their stay. Feeding carrots to the buffalo through the fence is a sharing, novel experience. Guests can experience the real territory life, in the bush-land, on their own terms by staying at this amazing rental.

In contrast, Djukbinj National Park on the scenic Marrakai floodplains is a major roosting and feeding site for waterbirds, magpies geese, egrets and brolga's. The national park offers a great scenic drive through a network of billabongs from Scotts Creek to Twin Billabong- best in the dry season May to October.
