Take your next weekend trip here. The ideal farm stay QLD getaway nestled on a 28-acre property with three-quarters of it covered in 63 clumping bamboo varieties. What's more, we have 30 mango trees that you can pick right off in season to pair with snacks or light meals.

The Space:
It is located in Fraser Coast Region, where you can rest and enjoy comfortable accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.

The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use. It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except on the other side of the creek where the main house is located.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

The Neighborhood:
It is in the rural locality of Bauple, Fraser Coast Region. Where you can explore restaurants, museums, and natural attractions. Close to nearby towns and a short drive to Tiaro, Glenwood, and Theebine.

Our local recommendations:

- Gold Coast is a 3 hr drive from stunning beaches, surfing spots, and lush rainforests.
- Mt. Bauple National Park has a diverse flora that is ideal for bushwalking, birding, and wildlife viewing.
- Rainbow Beach is a popular tourist attraction known for its colourful cliffs, surfing spot, and beautiful sandy beach.
- Bauple Museum provides an educational tour of the early history and historical records of the earliest settlers in the region.
- Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is home to a variety of native wildlife and interactive activities such as feeding to help visitors connect with animals.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 40 mins north of Gympie
- 30 mins south of Maryborough (the home of Mary Poppins)
- 2hr 50 mins (218kms) from Brisbane

By public transport:

- The closest town by train and bus is Gympie
- Due to property's rural location, we recommend guests to travel by private vehicle as there is no bus service that travels directly through our property. Once, you have arrive at our property, you will need a car to get around

Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have 5 dams with the main dam used for boating
- We have a friendly Maremma Sheepdog on the property
- Recycling and waste bins are located near the entrance gate
- We ask guests to dispose of their rubbish in the appropriate bins
- Please note that we have chickens, ducks, and goats on the property
- Please be advised that there will be farm animal noise during your stay
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.

Guest Advisory

- Guests can use the boat at prior request from the land host
- When using a boat, guests must wear a life jacket and be able to swim
- If you're interested in participating in our farm chores such as feeding, you can contact the land host 24 hrs before arrival
- We would also like to remind guests to follow the safety guidelines discussed with land their host when roaming around the property

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
