Eco Retreat | Romantic Getaway Brisbane

This modern and intimate eco-cabin is located on a 27-acre property atop a ridge overlooking Mt. Cooroy. It is conveniently located just 5 minutes west of Cooroy, Queensland near the Sunshine Coast, but feels miles from anywhere. Perfect for a couple's retreat eco-glamping amongst the trees, this cabin has large windows that allow the natural light to beam in for a truly relaxing experience. Guests will be personally greeted by the host and will find a complimentary bottle of organic wine along with a welcome basket filled with goodies. Inside, the bedroom contains one queen-size high-quality bed fitted with luxurious bamboo and cotton blend linens. The large bathroom contains a shower, a sink, and a toilet and the towels provided are Egyptian Cotton and certified Oeko-Tex.

In the living room, guests will find a small sofa and coffee table placed next to the wood-burning fireplace. Behind the sofa there are two plush, velvety recliners for guests to indulge in a bit of light reading. There is also a table and chairs to enjoy meals and a large flat-screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a sink, a stove, an oven, and cooking necessities. Other amenities include a detached massage and healing hut for guests to enter a state of deep relaxation at this unique eco-retreat.

Outside the cabin, guests will find a large wooden deck equipped with a barbecue and three seating areas to enjoy the fresh air. As if this accommodation wasn't already relaxing enough, the hosts have added an outdoor clawfoot tub so guests can soak their stress away while gazing upon the lush green scenery. Bubble bath and homemade bath-bombs are provided to make this experience truly unforgettable.

Guest should note approximately 95% of all items, furniture, artwork, kitchenware are vintage/pre-loved or eco-friendly and sustainably sourced.

Guests should note that this accommodation is eco-friendly and harvests its own rainwater. The waste system is a bio-cycle so only bodily wastes and toilet paper should be disposed of down the drains. Guests will find a booklet with other important details and information.

The cabin is only accessible via a maintained but steep gravel road that is limited to 4WD/AWD vehicles, guests should advise the host if they will need assistance in getting to the cabin.

Five minutes away from Cooroy, guests will find several restaurants, coffee shops, a supermarket, and op-shops. The old Butter Factory, which is now an are gallery and gift shop, is a popular in-town destination. There are also historic walking trails such as Noosa Botanic Gardens. From there, take a ten-minute drive to the world-famous Eumundi markets, held every Wednesday and Saturday. 20 minutes away, guests will find Noosaville where guests can enjoy riverside restaurants and shops. Guests will find a folder on the coffee table with recommendations of local activities and can always enquire with the hosts.
