The Space:
This tiny house is nestled in a special area of the property, surrounded by mature trees and offering breathtaking views of the mountain range beyond. Where you can enjoy comfortable accommodations such as a queen-sized bed in the loft and a couch that can be converted into a double bed on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use. It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save the environment.
If you plan to spend your farm stay getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be some farm animal and agricultural noise at various times of the day during your stay with us.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the large area of the farm, including the Albert River, which runs through the property.
Guests will have restricted access to animal paddocks/enclosures for the safety of both guests and farm animals. If you want to visit, please contact your land host at least 24 hrs before arrival to make arrangements for the daily animal feeding.
Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Daily meals, such as breakfast and dinner, are served in the dining room only from Wednesday to Sunday, including a picnic lunch on Saturday.
- We also cater vegetarian and gluten-free meals, but as a country cook, we cannot accommodate anaphylactic allergies or multiple dietary restrictions.
Pre-arranged activities
- Daily animal feeding starts at 9 AM, where you can feed our sheep, cows, alpacas, chickens, a miniature horse, and camels.
- Cave hiking trails are available three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, lasting about three hours and requiring a good level of fitness to hike up.
Farm guidelines
- It is advised that guests dress comfortably when exploring the property
- Before engaging in agricultural activities, guests are advised to follow the safety guidelines discussed with the land host
- We have 3 free-roaming friendly farm dogs and a couple of cats, along with horses, cows, chickens, ducks, alpacas, donkeys, and pigs on the property
Important note:
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pit is not available during the fire season
- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay

By public transport: We recommend guests to travel by private car as there is no public transport close to us. The nearest town is Beaudesert which is 30km or 30 min drive of the property.
