This bed and breakfast accommodation is located in Utchee Creek, Queensland, where it is set in the scenic foothills of the Atherton Tablelands. Right next to the bed and breakfast, guests will find an unspoiled creek with a swimming hole for them to enjoy. Local attractions include Paronella Park, which is just a mile and a half from the property. Originally a luxurious estate established by a Catalonian immigrant in the 1930s, the park is now home to a rainforest growing around the ruins of the fire and hurricane-ravaged remains of the estate's castle. A wide variety of birds and butterflies visit the park, along with flying foxes and bandicoots. Other local attractions include the Mamu Tropical Skywalk, the Babinda Boulders, Josephine Falls, and Murdering Point Winery.

About 15 minutes to the west, guests will find the Atherton Tablelands, where a mixture of rainforests, wetlands, and savannas provide habitats for an abundance of birds and animals, including wallabies and kangaroos. Less than an hour to the east, guests will find a number of beautiful beaches, such as Mission Beach and Innisfail. About an hour and a half to the north, guests will reach Cairns, where guests can access the Great Barrier Reef and find the nearest international airport.

During their stay, guests will find a number of local attractions to visit. At Paronella Park, for example, they can walk through a rainforest that contains a vast variety of trees, vines, orchids, palms, ferns, and other forms of plant life, all growing around the ruins of a fire and hurricane-ravaged castle. At the Mamu Tropical Skywalk, guests can take a walk through the rainforest canopy of Wooroonooran National Park.

The latter is also home to Josephine Falls, which guests can visit and then go on a hike on the Bartle Frere trail that extends westward from the waterfall. The park also provides opportunities for wildlife viewing, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. For a unique swimming experience, guests can head to the Babinda Boulders swimming hole, or they can just walk right out to the swimming hole of the creek that runs by through the property.
