This beautiful holiday cottage boasts an excellent location near Mackay, Queensland, and offers the perfect base for glampers to explore the surrounding national park or take a drive to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The cottage has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and can accommodate eight glampers. Two bedrooms have a queen-size bed each while the third bedroom comes with a set of twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa and an air mattress available. The bathrooms are modern and come with the creature comforts of home and linen and towels are kindly provided.

In the open plan living area, glampers will find comfy sofas, a fireplace, and a flat-screen television, ideal for cozying up and relaxing after an action-packed day. The modern kitchen is equipped with the essentials including a gas stove, an electric oven, a microwave, a juicer, a rice cooker, a slow cooker, and basic cooking essentials. Other amenities include heating.

Outside, glampers will enjoy an incredible outdoor living experience. There is an elevated deck that is perfect for al fresco dining and boasts sublime views of the lush greenery. Additionally, there are two fire pits which are great for evening gatherings and roasting marshmallows, as well as a hammock. The verandahs boast comfortable seating and exceptional views and the babbling creek lead to a refreshing natural pool in the surrounding forest.

This cottage offers modern conveniences that will make any discerning glamper feel right at home during their stay. With amenities such as an indoor fireplace, heating, a washer and dryer, and linen and towels, glampers will enjoy the creature comforts of home. For entertainment, there is a flat-screen television, while outdoors, glampers will find wonderful spots to sit back and relax. These include a large elevated covered deck with a dining set and daybeds, a large garden with two fire pits and a hammock, and two verandahs with ample seating.

St Helens Creek runs along the glamping property and leads to an impressive natural pool, perfect for a refreshing dip during those balmy summer days.

A must-see when visiting this part of Queensland is the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, which protects a large part of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. This spot attracts millions of tourists yearly and offers a powerhouse of recreation and attractions for nature lovers. Here, glampers can boat, cast a line in designated fishing areas, and sail, as well as scuba dive, snorkel, and swim.
