Go glamping today! | Queensland: Fraser Island | Holiday houses in one of the best places to stay in Queensland

This fantastic beach house is located in Orchid Beach on the gorgeous Fraser Island, one of the best places to stay in Queensland, thanks to it's seclusion and multitude of pristine beaches and places to explore. Two guests can stay in the Fraser Island accommodation, with a double bed found inside. The hosts do not provide linens, but the caretaker can for a fee. This must be communicated to the host before arrival The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet. There is no power grid and no town water on the island, instead the property has its own solar power and quality bore water supply.

The polished wooden floors, light colour-scheme, and the windows and French doors all combine to create a bright and airy atmosphere for guests to relax in when the sun is too hot. Plenty of seating is provided by the sofa and armchair, which boast amazing views through the French doors. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything needed to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, which can be enjoyed at the wooden dining table. Guests should note there is no Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, nor heating.

A step outside will take guests onto the wooden deck, which offers fantastic views, an outdoor table and chairs with a parasol, and some sun-loungers. It's a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sunshine or some al fresco dining in the evening when the sea breeze rolls in. A barbecue grill is provided to complete this adventure spent glamping in Queensland. If you are interested, please be aware that in order to get to the property, you must take a ferry from the mainland and then drive 100 kilometres along the beach in a high-clearance 4WD.

There are also some prime surfing and fishing spots to be found, and the winter months bring the chance of catching a glimpse of whales breaching off the shore. Elsewhere on the island are over 300 species of birds, and a variety of furry creatures like flying foxes, echidnas, possums, and wallabies.
