There is Tamborine Rainforest Walk where glampers can wander among the treetops, rock pools, and valleys, to a viewing deck that is 30 meters high. Along the way, there is Rainforest Eco Gallery for a glimpse of the mountain’s rich historical and cultural past. Adventure seekers can also explore Thunderpark Park and its Treetop Challenge for exciting nature activities such as balancing on bridges, navigating suspended tunnels, hanging from trees, and zip-lining through forests. For a refreshing hike, there are multiple waterfalls to choose from such as Curtis Falls, Cedar Creek Falls, Cameron Falls, and the Witches Falls Circuit. Hikers of all levels can also enjoy hiking through Mount Tamborine, with stunning trails available for first-time hikers and children as well as moderately challenging trails for those who want to take it to the next level. There is also Joalah Circuit, which is a 4.2km trail that goes through a giant fallen strangler fig tree and a flying fox colony.
Other activities include horseback riding in Cedar Glen Farmstay or Thunderbird Park, as well as experiencing the aerial view of the hinterland through hang gliders.
Back in the town, guests can enjoy visiting local producers’ markets almost every Sunday. There are also shops catering to antique enthusiasts and to lovers of art. Witches Chase Cheese Co is an interesting stop as well.
