Visit South Australia with the best Lake Bumbunga accommodation

This enchanting eco-friendly South Australia glamping retreat on the one-of-a-kind Bumbunga Lake is perfect for a true nature holiday. For the first time, visitors can stay in comfort in a uniquely crafted, hand-built, eco-friendly tiny house situated directly across the road from South Australia’s most accessible and iconic pink lake - Lake Bumbunga, only one and a half hours’ drive from Adelaide.

The concept of this tiny house is a self-contained, off-the-grid accommodation facility, ensuring that the guest’s stay is gentle on the planet and climate-friendly. Electricity is off-the-grid, being generated through solar panels on the roof and then stored in a 5KW battery. The tiny house uses rainwater collected on the roof and stored in a 5,000-litre tank. Shower greywater is filtered and then waters a plant bed. Mains water and a generator are available as a backup if required.

The Australia tiny house sleeps four people on four authentic futons in two loft bedrooms. The kitchen facilities include a gas stovetop, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster, a rice cooker, a soybean milk maker, and basic cooking utensils. Bathroom facilities consist of a shower, a hand-basin, towels, a hairdryer, and a bio-composting toilet.

The hosts provide several other great facilities to ensure a comfortable stay in Australia including reverse-cycle air conditioning, a Bluetooth music speaker, free Wi-Fi, games, and karaoke microphones. Self-catering food can also be pre-ordered from the adjacent Jitterbean Oasis Café.
