Visit South Australia | Tiny House Glamping

From a tiny house experience to abundant of activities nearby, this place will surely be on your bucket list!

Located in a very quiet coastal community in a housing estate/residential setting, with the main industry being crayfishing, you can enjoy the most of your holiday here at our property. We are just a 2-minute stroll away from the crystal waters of Bungaloo Bay. Local seafood delicacies are in abundance with great fishing and water activities on your doorstep. World Heritage listed cave sites are close by, as well as Australia’s best wine growing region with many and varied cellar doors.

Important note : Tiny house is located inside a residential area, very near to the beach. Please be aware that the property is not secluded or in the wilderness, but beachside so kindly expect that the area will be busy during weekends and peak seasons.

The Space:
Our tiny house is a lovely studio space of 155 sqft. It offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a queen sized bed, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning and heating. Perfect for 2 persons!

The kitchenette has everything you need to cook your light meals with. A portable cooker, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware, microwave and even a mini fridge. The portable cooker can be kept in the drawers when not in use to maximise space.

Our bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin and shower (gas heated for hot showers). In Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, we help to save the environment by conserving water using an eco-friendly toilet. Wastes are broken down in the compost toilet via an aerobic decomposition process. It is a waterless system (no need to flush!), whereas a standard dual flush toilet would use up to 350L of water per week. An aeration fan helps in the decomposition process and minimises odours.

There is also a portable flushing toilet located on the block 10 meters away from the the tiny house that you can use.

If you're using your own soap, shampoo, tooth paste, we ask that you bring biodegradable ones so that the grey water runoff does not harm the environment. Thank you!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings.

The Neighborhood:
Our property is located in Pelican point, a coastal town in South Australia that surrounds a headland on the continental coastline making it an idyllic holiday destination. The town is bordered by Bungalow Bay and the famous Pelican Point shack areas.

This tiny locality has a few features that stand out, including a lookout point from where visitors can enjoy bird watching, a detached pump house, and a small breakwater. There is also a bathroom which allows for freshening up as well as sheds that have been constructed to store boats and fodder.

Our local recommendations:

1. Mount Gambier Aquatic Centre - Leisure facility ideal for the whole family. It’s equipped with facilities that include a full-size Olympic pool, a wading pool, giant inflatables, and a beach volleyball court. The centre also provides free BBQ facilities onsite
