The park boasts a number of hiking trails, including the five-mile Wangarra Lookout Walk, which will take hikers past Wilpena Pound; the 12-mile trail to Brachina Gorge and Bunyeroo Valley, which are home of the rare yellow-footed rock wallaby. Guests can also visit the historic pastoral settlement of Old Wilpena Station, an important Aboriginal heritage site, on an Aboriginal guided tour.
