This bed and breakfast accommodation is located in Bushy Park, Tasmania, near Russell Falls, and can accommodate two guests. It provides them with one bedroom, one shared half bathroom, and one shared full bathroom. Inside the bedroom, which is located on the second floor, guests will find a single and/or queen-size bed, depending on the needs of the guest(s), set under a pitched ceiling. This bed and breakfast lodge is located in Bushy Park, Tasmania, where it is situated on a historic site that was originally a farm dedicated to the cultivation of hops in the mid-19th century. Nowadays, guests will find a peaceful country estate full of gardens, fruit trees, vegetables, magnolias, oaks, sequoias, chickens, wild ducks, and even a friendly horse. They will also find places in which they can sit and relax, as well as areas in which they can play croquet and boules.
For dining, guests will not have to go anywhere; there is a restaurant serving lunch, dinner, and tea right on the site, and a complimentary continental breakfast is served in the farmhouse kitchen. For recreation and tourism, guests will be perfectly positioned to explore and enjoy southern Tasmania. The town of New Norfolk on the banks of the Derwent River is just eight minutes away, where guests will find antique stores, shops, restaurants, riverside walks, and barbecue areas.
Mount Field National Park, which is home to the magnificent waterfall of Russell Falls, is about half an hour away. Here, guests will also find many trails and outdoor recreation opportunities. About half an hour away, guests can see wombats, koalas, and Tasmanian devils at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.

Transfers are available to and from Hobart, and transfers and tour packages are also available for a number of attractions in the region. These include the Port Davey Track, Overland Track, Maydena Bike Park, Derwent River (for kayaking), and Russell Falls.

For outdoor recreation, guests can go hiking, downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing at nearby Mount Field National Park. Other options for walking and hiking include the Overland Track, the Port Davey Track, and the riverside walk on the Derwent River in New Norfolk. On the river, they can also go kayaking, with tours available through the host of the site. Guests can go cycling on the Tasmanian Trail and the lightly trafficked roads in the region, and they can go mountain biking at Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park and the Maydena Bike Park.
In the surrounding region, guests will find a variety of wineries and breweries to visit, such as Derwent Estate Wines and the Cascade Brewery. For dining, guests can have a complimentary continental breakfast at the farmhouse kitchen; order lunch, dinner, and tea at the on-site restaurant; and visit the restaurants and pubs in New Norfolk and other towns in the region.
