This cottage is located in the perfect destination to explore the wonders of southern Tasmania. The seaside village of Kettering is a boater’s heaven and here glampers can enjoy fresh fish dinners and evening drinks by the Oyster Cove Marina. From this marina, glampers can also catch the ferry to the famous Bruny Island. This island boasts some of Tasmania’s most beautiful natural environments and is rich with exciting wildlife, amazing cliff-top scenery, and pristine beaches.

One of the best ways to experience the wonderful island is on a nature tour and Bruny Island Safaris offer educational tours to the lighthouse, to the island’s national parks, and around its stunning coastlines. In warm weather, glampers should visit the beaches at Coningham Nature Recreation Area, where there are several secluded white-sand beaches. In addition, the enchanting forestland, Wellington Park, boasts a variety of hiking, horseback riding, and biking trails, and glampers can even enjoy a four-wheel drive along the mountain trails.

For a day trip away from Kettering, glampers should visit Mount Fields National Park, Tasmania’s first national park where there is spectacular scenery, waterfalls, and vistas to be explored.
