Nature awaits you at the most unprecedented retreat in South Arm. The perfect farm stay Tasmania getaway, set on an undulating 12-acre property with sweeping views over Bruny Island, Ralfs Bay, and the Derwent River. Home to echidnas, wallabies, and a wide array of bird life such as colourful parrots, galahs, and more.

A short 400-meter walk will take you to South Arm Beach, great for fishing, coastal walks, and viewing the Southern Aurora.

The Space:
It sits in the rural residential area of South Arm, Clarence in the Hobart region. Clifton Beach, Goats Bluff Lookout, and South Arm RSL are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area. Our house is conveniently situated on a flat, grassy, and elevated spot below a small hill, offering stunning rural and water views, with a nearby native forest for you to explore.

A comfortable accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the land host's private residence and other neighbouring properties.

As caretakers, ensuring the privacy and peace of our guests is our top priority. In the event, that our guests need help with maintenance and repairs, or need medical attention, they are welcome to contact us by phone.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

It sits in the quiet town of South Arm, Hobart region. The area is known for its surfing beaches, coastal walks, and stunning views of the Southern Ocean.

It is a popular summer vacation destination with a wide range of activities for you to enjoy, such as fishing, boating, and kayaking. All of which are just a 5-minute drive from town.

- Brighton's Moe's Cafe and Restaurant serves freshly-made meals.
- Clifton Beach is a coastal suburb on the outskirts of Hobart, also known as a popular surfing beach in Tasmania.
- South Arm RSL serves affordable and delicious meals, and it's no surprise that it's popular among locals and tourists alike.
-The Goats Bluff Lookout is located between Calverts and Hope Beach, offers stunning views, and if you're lucky, see bioluminescence.
- South Arm lookout, South Arm Store, TCM, Hill St grocers, and butchers in Lauderdale are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area.

Getting Around:
By car;

- 30 mins drive from Hobart Airport. All are 2WD accessible.
- 38 km drive from Hobart City, about 30 to 40 mins depending on traffic.

By public transport:

- Taxi and Uber are available, morning and afternoon bus service. Having or hiring a car is HIGHLY recommended.

- Gas BBQ grill is available, please request it from the host in advance.
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house
- Cereal, milk tea, coffee, and condiments are free of charge
- We have two friendly dogs that can be kept indoors if necessary
- Recycling/compost bins are provided to dispose of rubbish properly
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
