This gorgeous, pet-friendly cabin is located in Forrest, Victoria, and can accommodate up to eight guests, making it ideal for a laid back group or family vacation. This cabin was recently refurbished using raw and recycled materials and includes four bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a half bathroom. The luxurious master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a free-standing claw-foot tub, both with lovely views over the gardens and landscapes. In the second bedroom, there are two twin-size beds, while the remaining third and fourth bedrooms each boast a queen-size bed. The spacious full bathroom includes a toilet, a sink, and a shower, while the half bathroom has a toilet and a sink. Fresh linens and fluffy towels are provided.
Guests will adore the laid-back atmosphere of the living area, where there is a wood-burning stove, a plush leather sofa, and two matching armchairs. A wide selection of books is available for guests to peruse during their stay. In the fully-equipped kitchen, guests will find everything they need to feel comfortable including a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, a toaster, a coffeemaker, utensils, and dishes. The local pub never disappoints and is open every night, always with a toasty fire in winter. All of this is within walking distance and all use predominantly local produce.
The area is rife with trails, where visitors can hike, climb, or, most popular of all, mountain bike. The trails are scenic and boast gorgeous landscapes that will make photographers happy. At the West Barwon Reservoir, guests can swim, fish, kayak, paddleboard, or boat.
