Glampers will find hiking trails, native wildlife, historical artifacts, and stunning photograph opportunities in Grampians National Park. The Grampians Peak Trail offers hikers the chance to see waterfalls, clear lakes, and gardens. Climbers can scale the granite cliffs of Mount Arapiles, and many of the rocks are beautifully decorated with Aboriginal artwork. Guests can visit Brambuk, which is The National Park and Cultural Centre, just a short drive from the retreat. There are panoramic views of the National Park from Reids Lookout, The Balconies, Boroka Lookout, McKenzie Falls, and The Pinnacle.
Animal lovers can take a look around Halls Gap Zoo which is home to kangaroos, wallabies, dingos, crocodiles, and koalas. Guests can take a scenic drive through Pomonal, Ararat, Stawell, and Great Western to tour The Gap and Seppelt Wineries. The breathtaking Lake Bellfield is under 10 minutes away and offers panoramic views of the mountains, freshwater fishing, swimming, and canoeing. Lake Fyans is also ideal for water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, and swimming. Glampers seeking a more relaxed pace can go to one of the bars, restaurants, cafes, or souvenir shops in Halls Gap, just two minutes from the retreat. Melbourne is only three hours away and offers world class sightseeing, live music, sporting events, bars, and restaurants.
Those who prefer lazy days can cozy-up with a book next to the fireplace or watch a DVD on the stunning LCD television.
