The sanctuary is settled on land that has Aboriginal cultural significance and offers information about Indigenous people and their culture. Healesville is also a quick 10-minute drive from the rental and offers lovely cafes, wine tasting rooms, and eclectic shops.

Surrounded by lush rainforest plant life, guests can spend hours embarking on hikes and nature walks through the stunning natural scenery. They will often spot wildlife rustling through the bush, as well. The area is rife with wineries, where glampers can enjoy a relaxing wine tasting and a tour, such as Domaine Chandon, Rochford Wines, and Coldstream Hills. There are also incredible wine tours, which allow guests to sample a variety of wines. In fact, Wombat Wine Tours will pick guests up from and drop them off at the accommodation. Beer lovers will also be pleased two local boutiques brewers, in addition to the Four Pillars Distillery for their award-winning gin.
Guests will likely be visited by a resident Lyrebird and beautiful parrots, and other wildlife includes kangaroos, deer, and more. For more nature-based activities, guests should check out the Bicentennial National Trail, Healesville Sanctuary, and Yarra Ranges National Park.
