Guests will love the picturesque rolling coastal hills along the Great Ocean Road near Cape Otway in Victoria, Australia, while staying at this charming holiday accommodation. The cottage can accommodate four guests, as it features two bedrooms and one bathroom. This fantastic Australian retreat rests on five-acres of hilltop property off the Great Ocean Road, providing guests with gorgeous views of the Southern Ocean, easy access to the waterfront less than one mile away, and ultimate relaxation as the sun sets over the Johanna Valley.
The recently refurbished rental plays host to two spacious bedrooms, the first with a queen-size bed, and the second with two large twin-size beds that can be combined to form a king-size bed, depending on the guests’ wishes. The bathroom in the cabin boasts a spacious soaking bathtub for guests to soak in during their stay, along with a glass walk-in shower beside it. A toilet and a sink can also be found in the bathroom, where linens and towels are provided by the host.
In the wood-paneled living area of the cottage, guests will discover a grand picture window, allowing natural to light flood into the room, adding to the peaceful feeling the green views provide. A couch and two leather reclining chairs sit facing a television and a fireplace that provides warmth and comfort for movie nights in the winter. The fully-equipped kitchen overlooks the living area, allowing the space to remain open to not only guests in the reclining chairs, but also at the four-seater dining room table just beside it. The kitchen provides a stovetop, a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, cooking and dining ware, and a toaster. Floor to ceiling glass windows and doors continue to line the dining area so that guests are surrounded by valley views in every room.
In order for guests’ pets to fully enjoy their stay, the host has provided a darling dog house outside, along with a wooden picnic table on the fenced-in patio, so that time can be comfortably spent outdoors taking in the incredible sights and adventuring around the property.
The property offers a wide array of amenities and facilities ranging from air conditioning throughout the cabin to free parking outside, along with a barbecue grill for great meals. Laundry facilities are provided for guests to use freely during their stay.
Glampers will be delighted to find a private hot tub outside on the deck for unwinding outdoors.

The Great Otway National Park provides visitors with a unique opportunity to meander through rainforests filled with scenic streams and waterfalls as they make their way to the coast, to unwind on the gorgeous beaches.
Cape Otway plays host to some extremely impressive natural attractions, such as The Twelve Apostles, a collection of rocks right off the shore of nearby Port Campbell National Park along the Great Ocean Road. Although only eight rocks remain standing, it’s worthwhile to pay them a visit along with the oldest and most enchanting lighthouse in Australia, The Cape Otway Lightstation. After climbing the steps to the top of the famously known as the “Beacon of Light,” visitors might be able to spot whales swimming and splashing about in the distant water, or head back down to the beach and over to Marengo Reef to spot fur seals and resident fairy penguins. For a unique experience, glampers are encouraged to set out on the Great Ocean Walk, a long trail for hikers of all abilities to leisurely appreciate the coastline.
Maits Rest is another walking trail nearby that guests can spend a full day exploring. The circular walking trail is set on a boardwalk built over gullies and green mossy roots, providing visitors with an up-close and personal experience with the tranquil forest. Guests inclined to continue exploring forestry should be sure to spend time at Melba Gully State Park, where the half-hour Madsen's Track Nature Walk leads lovers of all things nature to spectacular trees, fern gullies, and unusual glow worms that light up the trail at night.
Up and down the Great Ocean Road, guests will find countless activities to try and a plethora of exciting places to discover.
