Luxury Tiny Home is Perfect for a Victoria Bush Retreat

Vacation Rental in Korweinguboora, Victoria

2 guests • 1 bed

The property is 20 acres of farmland nestled in the Wombat Forest of central Victoria. The cool climate and high rainfall mean we are surrounded by lovely, tall eucalypt forest. The house and garden are extensively planted with ornamental and productive gardens, including a fruit orchard, veggie garden, and avenues of deciduous trees. The farm is home to a small flock of sheep, chooks, a very friendly border collie dog, and abundant birdlife.

The rear of the property has 5 acres of forest to explore with elevated views to the east and access beyond to the Wombat Forest. The nearby forest includes lush fern-covered gullies which form the headwaters of the Moorabool River.

Important note: There is another tiny house on this property that is also rented out, so expect some company from other guests as some areas are shared. The other tiny house is 135 meters away and partly visible from there but far enough to be private.

The Space:
Experience living off the grid and truly disconnect here. Our tiny house is eco-friendly and solar-powered. It offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a queen-sized bed, and ensuite bathroom. Perfect for 2 persons!

The kitchenette has everything you need to cook your light meals with. A gas stove, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware, and a cooler box.

Our bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). In Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, we help to save the environment by conserving water using an eco-friendly toilet. Wastes are broken down in the compost toilet via the anaerobic decomposition process. It is a waterless system (no need to flush!), whereas a standard dual flush toilet would use up to 350L of water per week. An aeration fan helps in the decomposition process and minimizes odors.

If you're using your own soap, shampoo, toothpaste, we ask that you bring biodegradable ones so that the greywater runoff does not harm the environment. Thank you!

This tiny house is fully powered by solar. Please note that during winters or on days with low light conditions, limited power is generated. Unfortunately, the solar power is insufficient to power up the air con for heating/cooling. It will be best to conserve power as much as possible to avoid running out of power at night. You can bring portable power banks to charge your handphone etc.

Guest Access:
Guests can access all areas of the property except the main house, sheds, and paddocks where livestock are grazing.
