This rustic and secluded cabin is located on five acres of gorgeous bushland-surrounded property in Tarwin Lower, Victoria, and can accommodate up to six guests, making it ideal for a laid back group or family getaway. This cabin is made from recycled timber and tin and includes two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The lovely master bedroom is connected to the living area in a studio style and features an extra-large and specially-imported king-size bed from Oregon, USA, as well as plenty of natural light from the windows. The second bedroom is detached from the living area but connects via the external deck and boasts two queen-size beds, made from recycled materials. Additionally, the two full bathrooms each boast a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Fresh linens and fluffy towels are provided.
Guests will adore the laid-back atmosphere of the living area, where there is a wood-burning stove, plush seating, and a selection of books to choose from. In the fully-equipped kitchen, guests will find everything they need to feel comfortable including a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a stove, a toaster, a French press coffeemaker, utensils, and dishes. The wooden dining table has seating for six and is a wonderful spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal around. Additional facilities include a laundry and Wi-Fi.
Outside, guests will step out onto the lovely deck, which has first-hand views over the lush bush and woodlands that this property calls its backyard. There is a wonderful seating area in the garden with wooden benches, as well as a cozy fire pit and a luxurious hot tub. Guests will love the outdoor hammock, lawn bowls set, and cricket set. Two mountain bikes and helmets are provided for guest use. Guests are only five minutes from the beaches, all with fantastic views overlooking the bay and ocean.
The rental is built from recycled timber and tin, giving it a rustic and unique atmosphere. Inside, there is a wood-fired heater with a generous wood supply included, as well as unique and restored furniture. There is broadband and Wi-Fi, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a selection of books. Linens are provided, as well as some basic kitchen provisions.
Outside, guests will find a large garden to explore, in addition to a roofed outdoor dog enclosure with a kennel. Also for dogs, there are two indoor and outdoor beds, a chain, and a leash. Guests will be surrounded by plenty of entertainment and outdoor recreation to keep them busy during their stay. The forest surrounding the five acres boast wonderful walking paths where guests can spot local wildlife and birdlife, as well as take fantastic photographs. Guests are provided with two mountain bikes that they can use on and around the property also. There are plenty of excellent spots to fish around the area, including Anderson Inlet and Waratah Bay. Guests should head to Walkerville Beach to swim, surf, canoe, or kayak. This spot is also excellent for sunbathing.
A must-see is Wilsons Promontory National Park, known for its wonderful walking trails and abundant wildlife, where guests are likely to spot plenty of native animals including kangaroos and wombats. There are several trails from the Tidal River settlement that lead to Squeaky Beach, which has magnificent white quartz sand and clear oceans.
