Set along the Coral Coast in Port Denison, Western Australia, lay these two-bedroom family-friendly cabins. Overlooking the Indian Ocean, these cabin rentals provide a camping experience unlike any other and offer guests some of the best surroundings for a beach getaway. Set with two bedrooms each, as well as an ensuite bathroom, there are three cabins available, all of which can sleep up to four guests. For sleeping arrangements, glampers will find a queen size bed in one bedroom and either bunk beds or double-size beds in the second bedroom.
There is reverse cycle ducted air conditioning found throughout all of these cabins, as well as an ensuite bathroom with a separate toilet. Guests will have full kitchens with separate lounge and dining areas, as well as a microwave, hot plates, an electric frypan, a toaster, and a kettle. There is also a refrigerator and a freezer.
For indoor entertainment, each cabin comes fitted with a television, an iPod dock, and a DVD player. All linens come provided and glampers will enjoy having a private outdoor seating area.
Facilities here include air conditioning, well-insulated interiors and sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Inside, guests will enjoy having a television and an insulated interior perfect for camping in any season. Outside, there is a shared Jumping Pillow, perfect for keeping the little ones busy. This area is perfect for those who love the sea, as well as camping in a state park. Besides trips to South Beach, guests can head to nearby Dongara and Denison, which have fantastic beaches for swimming, snorkeling on the shallow reefs around and fishing. For families, kids will find entertainment at the Irwin Recreation Centre, nearby playgrounds, Dongara Public Library, and Dongara Activity Park. Adventurous glampers can take on a surf lesson or enjoy kite surfing along the shores of South Beach. This property has many different annual events, from Jukebox Saturday nights in January, Easter Race Day, and an Easter Egg Hunt, which is a big hit with the families. There is also a Larry Lobster Festival and first Saturday of every month, guests can discover the fresh markets held at the town park.
Glampers can visit during Kitestock, an annual premier event which attracts hundreds of professional kite surfers from around the globe. Golfers can enjoy a nearby 18-hole course of grass greens with some of the most spectacular of both Dongara and Port Denison and the Indian Ocean. Those looking to head into to town can spend the night watching an outdoor movie at Dongara Denison Drive-ins, which also offers hot dinners, refreshments and sweets. Foodies must try the olives at Silverdale Olive Orchard, enjoy the cafes on the main street of Dongara and, for some local grub, head to Southerly’s Tavern, which overlooks the Port Denison Marina.
