Glampers will love the soothing environment that the sanctuary provides, with wildlife rustling in the trees overhead and horses, dogs, cats, and a pig wandering around the wooded property. At the center, guests can meditate in one of the lodges or go for a spiritual walk through the labyrinth. There are various yoga retreats available throughout the year, as well as guided hiking tours of the area that leave from the retreat.

On Bowen Island, glampers can try out the local cuisine before meandering through the various galleries, many of which display predominantly Aboriginal art dating back to the island’s ancient Squamish Nation. The island also boasts a number of paths where glampers can mountain bike or trek, with beaches along the coastline that invite guests to kayak, swim, or fish in the sound. At the Visitor Center, glampers can book a tour of the island or take a look at the theater and performance schedule for the month, as the island hosts various live productions all year. There is also a golf course near the harbor, where guests can play a few rounds before retiring to the sanctuary for the evening.
