This unique family-friendly getaway is nestled in the Canadian Rocky Mountains located in Golden, British Columbia and can accommodate four guests. This bed and breakfast provides everything guests will need for a holiday getaway or a summer adventure with the whole family.

The spacious suite has two bedrooms with one shared bathroom. The first bedroom has two twin beds, two nightstands, and a closet. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, a nightstand, and a closet. The suite has windows where guests can look out to the breathtaking scenery or the incomparable views of the mountain ranges. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, stone tiling, a double-head shower, and soft spa towels for a resort-like experience.

Other amenities include Wi-Fi, a shared entertainment area with a satellite TV, a DVD and CD player, and a comfortable seating area, and a shared, eight-person hot tub on the outside deck. A fresh, homemade breakfast is included each morning before families start their days exploring the area and taking in the stunning scenery.

The tree-lined property of this cozy bed and breakfast has second-to-none views of Canadian Rocky Mountain ranges and surrounding pine forests. Outside is an eight-person hot tub where guests can warm up while stargazing or while watching the snow fall. The shared area offers a wood fireplace adding to the cozy cabin-like atmosphere and an entertainment center with a smart TV, satellite TV, and a DVD and CD player. A complimentary, organic breakfast with homemade granolas, cereals, baked goods, and fair trade coffee is served each morning. Free high speed wireless internet is also provided.

The Golden, British Colombia area offers exciting adventures and incredible experiences no matter the season. In the winter, guests can witness the stunning alpine scenery of Glacier National Park while hiking or taking a ski tour along Rogers Pass. The bed and breakfast is also only a 15-minute drive away from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort where guests can go skiing, ice climbing, snowmobiling, or snowboarding. In the warmer months, guests can visit Yoho National Park to see one Takakkaw Falls, one of Canada’s tallest waterfalls, or the turquoise glacier waters of Emerald Lake. Guests looking to explore can also hike one of the 28 mountain peaks within the park and admire extraordinary views. For a birds-eye view, guests can sit back and enjoy a ride on the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Gondola and see the incredible surrounding scenery. The Columbia River and the Kicking Horse River are both frozen in the winter, but during the summer guests can explore the river while canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and even fishing. Guests wanting to take in the setting can stroll along the Kicking Horse River Pedestrian Bridge, Canada’s longest covered pedestrian bridge.

After a long day of exploring the national parks and mountain trails, guests can have dinner at Cedar House Restaurant, which was voted one of Canada’s top 50 places to eat. For a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, guests can enjoy wonderful food and views at Eagle’s Eye Restaurant which sits at the top of a mountain and is accessible by a gondola ride. Guests can also wander around town and enjoy a live concert at one of the pubs, dance the night away at the nightclubs and bars, or even shop at the local boutiques and stores.
