This large, unique rental is in Apex Mountain Village, British Columbia, 40 minutes drive from Penticton. It is only a two-minute walk from all the village shops and amenities, and the ski area is so close, guests can almost ski out and ski in again at the end of the day. There is room for up to 16 guests, and the rental has space for 25 people for gatherings and social evenings, including those already staying.
There are 10 bedrooms in total. Two of the rooms has a queen-size bed and a bathroom, while eight of the rooms have a queen-size bed, one bunk bed, and a pull-out couch as well as a bathroom. All of the bedrooms have a microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, and a television. The living area is a cozy space to relax after a long day on the slopes, and it has satellite-TV
The rental has a storeroom for skis and equipment, and in the hallway, there is a gas-powered fireplace to warm guests up as they return from a day on the mountain.
All essentials are provided, including towels, bed sheets, shampoos, and soaps. The rental has central heating, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a laptop-friendly space for guests to use. There is a fireplace in the rental to keep the space comfortable and cozy. The rental is big enough for guests to entertain up to 25 people, including the those staying here. Apex Mountain Village is a great spot to go for winter sports. The ski area is only a couple of minutes walk from the rental, so guests can go skiing and snowboarding easily. For those with less experience, there is the snow school which offers programs for all ages. Alternatively, if guests want to improve upon their already honed skills, there are classes to push to the next level. Guests can also ice-skate, and rent a fat bike. During the summer months, Penticton is a fantastic place to visit. There are numerous vineyards and wineries to visit and to take part in tastings. Guests can also head out onto the lakes and take part in some watersports from banana boats and parasailing to paddle boarding and kayaking. Pier Water Sports organizes much of these activities. For a cultural day out, guests can visit S.S. Sicamous Museum and Heritage Park or Tumbleweed Gallery.
