The serenity of peaceful Hornby Island offers the rare chance for guests to switch off from the hustle and bustle of urban life and reconnect with nature. However, those looking for activities will not be disappointed, with watersports, hiking, fishing, excellent biking trails and a thriving local arts scene. Sea kayaking is a great way to explore the island and offers the chance to spot sea lions, seabirds and the thousands of starfish that cling to the coastal rocks. The cabin is located just a five-minute drive from the stunning white sandy beach of Tribune Bay, loved by swimmers for its beautiful crescent shape and warm aquamarine waters. Near the bay, guests can also take a walk through beautiful old growth forest onto Helliwell Bluffs. In the summer months, the island's many resident artists open up their studios for visitors to see their work.
