This charming cottage getaway on Hornby Island in British Columbia can accommodate up to four guests at a time. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, a Chinese writing desk, and an armoire for storing clothes, while the second bedroom contains a queen-size bed as well. The main ensuite bathroom includes a soaking tub, a sink, a toilet, and provided linens, with a separate standing shower located outside on the private deck. There is a second half bathroom across from one of the bedrooms.

The living room is furnished with cozy leather sofas and armchairs, all of which are gathered around the wood-stove in the corner, perfect for warming up the room as friends and family talk by night. In the kitchen, glampers can prepare meals and snacks for the day before heading out to explore the island, with a long wooden dining table in the main room where guests can eat as a group.

On the wooden patio, there is a round table shaded by an umbrella where guests can unwind with a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a good book in the afternoon. Glampers will also be just a short walk away from the water’s edge, with flowers lining the pathways on the way there.

Each rental comes with at least one bedroom and one full bathroom. There is a fully-equipped kitchen that has a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, and cooking utensils. Additionally, there is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room and a dining room table. Outside, there is a furnished wooden deck.

Guests should know that there is a flight of stairs to get down to the virtually private beach.

Glampers must take a 15-minute ferry to Denman Island, drive to Gravelly Bay, and take another ferry to Hornby Island to reach this accommodation.

Glampers staying at this retreat on Hornsby Island will enjoy a peaceful vacation in an idyllic natural setting, with plenty of outdoors activities to keep visitors busy throughout their stay. Just outside the front door, glampers can head down to the beach and go for a stroll on the sand, or put a kayak on the water and venture into the strait between Hornsby and Denman Islands. Whaling Station Bay, which is about 15 minutes from the accommodation, is another good beach spot for glampers hoping to lie out under the sun.

The island also boasts a number of restaurants, market, wineries, and distilleries, each inviting guests to spend a day with family and friends trying out the local products. Glampers could also rent bikes to spend the day riding the Bench Trail or No Horses Trail along the cliff edges, both offering excellent views of the ocean below. At St. John’s Point in Helliwell Provincial Park, glampers can hike, fish, or whale and shark watch from either the shore or by boat on a charter tour. Guests will find plenty of other hiking trails to explore at Boyle Point Provincial Park and Tribune Bay Provincial Park.
