Secluded in the forests of the Skeena River Valley and overlooked by British Columbia's coast mountains, this log cabin rental is only a short scenic drive from Terrace or Smithers. Scribed from locally-grown cedar, the cabin is completely private, the only structure on 15 acres.

In this magical setting, guests can prepare meals in the fully-equipped kitchen or on the outdoor BBQ, and enjoy dining indoors or out. The oversize armchairs and loveseat in the living room are the perfect place to enjoy the view, or curl up by the glass-paned wood-fire.

For those who enjoy soaking under the stars, there is the option of an outdoor, wood-fired hot tub (subject to availability). 24 hours notice is required. With each new set of guests, the hot tub is cleaned and re-filled with fresh, mountain stream water – no chemicals are added. The fee for the 1st night is $50; fees for 2nd and 3rd consecutive nights are $25 each. (Hot tub fees are collected on-site.)

This wilderness oasis has a full bathroom, complete with a clawfoot bathtub/shower, and of course, hot running water. Linens and towels are provided.

Upstairs, there are two queen-size beds in the main room and a single bed in a small side room. The main room also has a television, DVD player and sound system.

Just a few steps outside the door is the creek that powers the micro-hydro. There is cell service at the cabin (for users of the Telus and Bell networks). For guests who prefer to turn off their phones, there is an intercom that will connect you with your hosts at any time of the day or night, should you need assistance.
