To grab food and provisions for the stay, there is a general store, and several restaurants, such as Riggers Pub Style Family Restaurant, and the Sugar Shack. There are hiking trails like the Sunset Trail on the western end, and the Dune Ridge and Eagle Ridge trails closer toward the center of the island. This little sandbar island is also noted for shellfish, clams, and oysters along the beach. Regularly seen wildlife on Savary Island include seals, sea lions, and porpoises. Occasionally, guests are lucky enough to spot a Humpback whale or an Orca.
