This secluded safari tent is nestled on an exclusive property near Madeira Park and offers a romantic camping experience in British Columbia. The tent boasts an excellent location and features a king-size bed, an outdoor covered deck along with a private yoga platform. During cooler months, the electric fireplace provides warmth and sets the mood for a romantic escape.
There is a private porta-loo on the campsite and the shared bathroom facilities are within walking distance and offer hot showers, sinks, and toilets. Linen and bath towels are kindly provided by the hosts.
In the morning, glampers can kick-start the day with a yoga session on their private deck or attend a yoga class on site. The deck is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee together in the morning or a romantic glass of wine while admiring the lagoon in the evening light. During the day, there are plenty of activities to enjoy, including fishing, paddleboarding, and hiking.
When hunger strikes, the on-site restaurant boasts a wonderful menu, all prepared with locally sourced ingredients.

On-site, glampers can go fishing and swimming in Ruby Lake or rent equipment and enjoy stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing, and boating. Additionally, the property boasts over 80 acres of land which is just ideal for intrepid glampers as they traverse the network of hiking and biking trails that abound. With over 120 species of birds in a natural paradise surrounding by old-growth forests, nature enthusiasts will be in their element.
Further afield, glampers can head Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park is beautiful and features a long challenging hike for those looking to break a sweat. The hike is worth the effort once glampers reach the top, with amazing views and photo opportunities. Day trips and tours to Thormanby Islands, Savary Island, and Princess Louisa Inlet are a must and full of outdoor recreation.
Back on site, glampers can enjoy a delicious dinner at the restaurant, where they can sample a gourmet menu prepared with local ingredients. Furthermore, there is a wildlife sanctuary on site as well as an outdoor amphitheater.
