To properly explore this untouched corner of Canada, it's best to simply walk. There are miles of protected beaches to stroll along, and there are hiking trails that wind through Naikoon Provincial Park's lush greenery. Other popular ways to get the most out of a stay in the Haida Gwaii archipelago are to get back in touch with nature with sports fishing being one such activity, along with crab, clam, and shell gathering. There are ethnobotany and eco-tours available to learn more about the unique and plentiful flora and fauna that call Graham Island home, while bird and whale watchers will be delighted by the opportunities the archipelago offers.
