This charming log cabin is nestled in the woods of the Kootenay area in British Columbia, Canada, and can accommodate up to six guests. The cabin consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite half bathroom with a toilet and a sink. The second bedroom features a pillow-top double bed and a private deck and the second bathroom comes complete with a bathtub shower combination. The cabin offers a snug lounge area with a pull-out sofa bed to accommodate an additional two guests. In this room, guests can relax and enjoy a movie on the flat-screen TV while they choose from a selection of over 200 DVDs.
In the kitchen, guests will find everything they need to prepare all kinds of meals. Located just to the south of the property and lying next to the Slocan Lake, guests will find the Valhalla Provincial Park, and just to the north guests will find the Goat Range Provincial Park. In a short 10 kilometer drive, guests can reach the Rosebery Provincial Park and in just 15 kilometers guests can reach the Summit Lake Provincial Park. Guests will not have to venture far to find interesting and exciting activities with a plethora of opportunities within minutes from the property. In just three minutes guests can reach the Slocan Lake where they can go swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing or paddle boarding. The Slocan Lake also offers a hiking trail and a scenic rail trail. Guests can bring their bikes along with them to tackle the numerous mountain biking trails in the area. Additionally, a secret waterfall located just outside the cabin is just waiting to be discovered. More points of interest within close proximity include the Chiaroscuro Photographic Gallery, the Hills tennis court, and the Bonanza Marsh, where guests can admire the elegant swans.
Travel a little further and guests can find the Idaho Peak, which guests can climb if they are feeling energetic. The jaw-dropping, panoramic view at the top and the diverse display of alpine flowers are definitely worth the journey. In a 40-minute drive, guests can find the sensational Nakusp Hot Springs, where they can treat themselves to a relaxing and rejuvenating soak. If guests fancy a round of golf they can head to the New Denver Golf Course and dine outside in the restaurant while admiring the striking views of Slocan Lake and the Valhalla Range.
