Guests will find a variety of outdoor activity options on the parks, beaches, and waters that dot and surround Quadra Island. At Main Lake Provincial Park, guests can go canoeing amid a chain of lakes, marshes, and creeks surrounded by temperate rainforest. For sea kayaking, guests can explore the maze of channels, bays, and fjord inlets surrounding Quadra Island and the rest of the Discovery Islands. Tours, lessons, and rentals are available from a variety of local outfitters, such as Quadra Island Kayaks.
The waters off the island are well-suited for sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and salmon fishing as well. Diving tours are available through Quadra Island Diving Charters. Fishing charters are available from companies such as AG-Fish Enterprises and Boonie Charters. Hiking, biking, and horseback riding options include the Community Centre Trails, Haskin's Farm, Kay Dubois, Cape Mudge Shoreline, Blindman's Bluff, and Shellaligin Pass.
