The living room features two comfy sofas, a large flat-screen TV with satellite, a DVD player, and a stereo. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with all the essentials to enjoy home-cooked meals at the dining table for six. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, a telephone, and a washer and dryer.

Outside, guests will have direct access to the trails of the Kootenay Columbia Trails Society, as well as trails that lead into the surrounding wilderness. On-site parking is available, and there is a shared pool on the property.

This guesthouse offers all the conveniences of home, with a satellite TV, a VCR, a DVD player, a stereo, Wi-Fi, a telephone, and a washing machine. All linens and towels are provided, and off-street parking is available. Snowshoes are available for guests to use in the winter, and an in-ground pool is available in July and August.

The hosts, Anthony and Helen, are both outdoor educators and are happy to advise guests on activities in the region.

This unique lodge is located in Rossland, British Columbia, and is nestled among the forest and meadows, boasting gorgeous views of the Monashee Mountains. It is only five minutes by car from Red Mountain Ski Area and Blackjack Cross-Country Ski Area. From the yard, guests can access trails of the Interior Cedar-Hemlock Forest. The Trans-Canada Trail also runs through the property. The charming town of Rossland is just a 10-minute walk from the property, and there are six golf courses within an hour´s drive.

Guests will have plenty of year-round outdoor activities right out their door. Trails from the yard lead directly into the Interior Cedar-Hemlock Forest, where guests can take ski tours, go snowshoeing, mountain biking, and hiking. In the winter, glampers can spend the day on the pristine and powdery slopes of Red Mountain Ski Area, just a five-minute drive away. Guests can take a short walk to downtown Rossland, where they will find specialty shops, great restaurants, galleries, and the Museum and Discovery Center.

Smoking is only permitted in the designated sheltered area outdoors.

Pets are welcome upon prior approval. A pet fee of $15 applies.

There is a minimum three-night stay on weekends (except in summer).

The food at this guesthouse is local or organic where possible and the hosts have their own chickens. The hosts strive to support local businesses in order to minimize their environmental footprint. The hosts manage their 13 acres in an environmentally sensitive manner and provide recreational access to the community through the Kootenay Columbia Trails Society.

The hosts speak Dutch, Italian, French, and so can their Appenzeller Sennenhund dogs, Arther and Emme, who are Swiss nationals.
