The studio-style layout offers a double-size bed and a fully equipped kitchen with propane appliances, such as an oven, a stove, and a refrigerator. The kitchen also comes with basic foodstuff. Guests must be comfortable using or learning to use propane appliances. There is an indoor shower adjacent to the cabin, and there is a composting toilet a few meters away from the cabin. The island is a known vacation spot around the world, with plenty of great activities for glampers to check out. There are several hiking trails on the island, with a few of the more challenging trails heading to the highest peaks of the Gulf Islands, Bruce Peak, and Mount Tuam. There is also great fishing in the area as the Trincomali Channel runs to the east and has great fishing areas along the coast. Guests can also head into the Ganges to check out the Saturday market, shops, and restaurants, to check out the Salt Spring Island’s local culture and cuisine.
On the property, guests can take part in permaculture farm tours, wildlife walks, yoga classes, horseback rides, or walk through the surrounding 100 acres of farmland and forest.
