This unique tree house rental is located near Shuswap Lake, British Columbia, and can accommodate 10 guests for a one-of-a-kind getaway to a peaceful, rural setting surrounded by a forest. In addition to the cabin itself, guests will also enjoy a separate lodge and bathhouse, all of which are interconnected by an elevated deck. There is also a separate, comfortably appointed outhouse. Altogether, the property provides guests with four bedrooms, one full bathroom, one-half bathroom, a kitchen, living area, and a dining area.
Guests will find a queen-size bed in the first bedroom, a full-size bed and a twin bed in the second bedroom, another full-size bed in the third bedroom, and a queen-size bed, a twin bed, and a sofa bed in the fourth bedroom. A variety of unique features and extra touches complement each of the bedrooms. For example, one of the beds is housed in a cozy nook surrounded by in-built shelves and windows on three sides. Another bedroom is situated at the top of a ladder in a loft, where guests will find triangular windows, a vaulted ceiling, and a door leading to a balcony. The walls, floors, and ceilings of all of the bedrooms feature all-wood surfaces, creating a rustic atmosphere.
In the bathhouse, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower set beneath a glass roof. Linens and towels are provided. Combining a kitchen with a living area and a dining area, the lodge has an open-plan design that is accentuated by tall ceilings and an entire wall full of floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests will find comfortable sofas in the living area and a six-person dining table in the dining area, both of which are kept warm and cozy by a wood-burning stove. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffeemaker.
Other amenities include a complimentary, farm-fresh breakfast, limited Wi-Fi, Netflix, an iron, a hairdryer, a washer and dryer, board games, Legos, puzzles, guitars, and equipment for playing bocce, horseshoes, and Molkky (a Finnish game that is like bowling).
Outside, guests will find a deck with an outdoor dining table, a barbecue grill, a campfire area, and a ping-pong table. The cabin also comes with snowshoes and two canoes that guests are welcome to use.

With Shuswap Lake just a little over two miles to the south, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy a wide variety of water-based activities, such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, boating, windsurfing, waterskiing, and even scuba diving. Guests interested in fishing will find 19 species of fish in the lake, including rainbow trout, burbot, Kokanee, and whitefish.
Guests can access the lake at Herald Provincial Park, where they can also go walking on a nature trail to visit Margaret Falls, hiking on a trail that leads to a scenic view of the lake, and birdwatching in both the woods and the shore of the lake, which provides opportunities to see great blue herons.
More opportunities for nature walks and hiking can be found on the wooded trails that are located within walking distance of the farm on which the tree house is located. At the farm itself, guests are welcome to help with feeding the livestock and collecting the hens' eggs. Inside the tree house and on the property, guests can also play ping pong, Molkky (a Finnish game that is like bowling), bocce, horseshoes, and board games.
