New Brunswick is a year-round destination offering plenty of things to see and do for everyone. Endless beaches, lakes, and rivers mean no shortage of watersports. Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and paddling are all great ways to get out on the water. On land, adventure comes in the form of hiking, cycling, climbing, zip lining, and rappelling. Fishing and hunting are both very popular as well. Whale watching, wildlife viewing, and birding get one up close and personal with the abundance of creatures in the water and on land.

A trip to The Bay of Fundy to see the famous "flowerpot rocks" at The Hopewell Rocks will be a memorable experience. A walk around the rocks at low tide is quite the sight, and then suddenly the rocks are gone. The Fundy trail is ideal for biking and the cliffs at Cape Enrage offer excellent climbing and rappelling. There are several provincial parks in New Brunswick, all offering terrific nature experiences. Hiking the Maritimes' highest peak, swimming in Canada's warmest salt water or skiing down some of the oldest mountains are just a few of the things the parks are known for.

The capital city of Fredericton is best known for the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the Historic Garrison District, and activities along the Saint John River. Visitors to the city can also indulge in many culinary delights from oyster bars and French bistros to family-style dining, there is sure to be something to suit everyone's tastes. The city of Moncton is home to Casino New Brunswick and the Capitol Theatre, both good options for live entertainment. Magnetic Hill Zoo and Magic Mountain Water Park are also located in Moncton and are sure to make for a fun family day out. The city of Dieppe has a European-style downtown that is close to nature trails, parks, and beaches. Cultural and recreational activities, the Dieppe Market, and some of the best shopping can all be found here.

Ritchie Wharf Park, on the Miramichi River, is a happening place with entertainment, restaurants, artists’ gallery and boat charters. The boardwalk makes for a nice stroll and the adventure playground and splash pad will be ideal for the kids.

The fun does not stop once winter hits. In fact, New Brunswick has the highest snowfall in the Maritimes, making it a go-to destination for winter sports. Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are sure to give winter enthusiasts their fix.
