This is a quaint cottage located on just over an acre of land beside one of the largest set of rapids of the Petite River. Located just one and a half hours from Halifax, this quiet and private rental is just off the main road giving quick access to the wide range of local interest and activities. Its the perfect location for a romantic getaway for two or a personal retreat.
The retreat is fully equipped with a fridge, a stove, a dishwasher, and laundry facilities. It will sleep two in the main bedroom queen-size bed. The large deck which overlooks the river is accessed off the kitchen and includes a BBQ and outdoor dining facilities. Guests can enjoy a quiet evening on the deck listening to the river and watching the stars or build a bonfire in the riverside fire pit.

This is a wonderful community close to local beaches, steeped with history and full of charm. Petite Riviere is just a few minutes away and has a general store (complete with a liquor store). Guests can have one of their wonderful cups of coffee and enjoy a few minutes on their deck sharing a "yarn" with the locals.
The guests have access to the BBQ, a river for swimming, a riverside fire pit, and five beaches within a 15-minute drive.
